Alongside all our regular Sunday and Saturday club rides, we also offer women-only road rides. As with all our rides, we stop mid way for a coffee and cake and have many great cafés to enjoy around the beautiful Chilterns.
We also recognise that there is a growing interest in off road riding, so we are pleased to introduce a dedicated group for women who want to explore this together in a friendly, supportive environment.
With our 7 Sunday ride groups of varying abilities named after our local Chiltern Hills, there is a group just for you! Whether you enjoy hill climb trials, time trials, or Cyclocross you will find plenty of opportunitires to challenge yourself and have fun.
Enjoy Away Days? We have an annual Isle of Wight day trip, also Gravel rides in the New Forest, plus cycle holidays to Mallorca and Sanremo! All of these rides are a great opportunity to meet other women and most importantly, enjoy riding together!

“I feel really lucky to ride with ARCC – there’s really a ride for everyone (and every bike)!
We are based in a great location and have such a breadth of different rides and coffee stop locations. I really like the fact that for each ride there is always a planned route with a coffee stop, and a clear leader on the road. We split down into groups of 4-6 (8 max) as the group rides together, sharing the work and looking after each other in terms of safety and motivation.
There is so much more than only Amersham, and only road riding! Over the last year I rode with groups from the club: A week in Mallorca including the wonderful Andratx to Pollenca, Sa Calobra, the Lighthouse and Santa Magdelena. Day trips to the Isle of Wight and the New Forest with road, gravel and mountain bike routes.
I have also been involved in setting up and marshalling a regional cyclocross event near Milton Keynes, whilst also pushing myself against the clock on the Club’s evening time trial routes whilst learning new skills on the Mountain Bike! I couldn’t wish for more enjoyment, variety and fun on a bike.”
