Membership & Renewals
New Members: You can wait until after you have tried out one ride before you decide to join. As the club is run by volunteers, we ask all members to contribute in some way – this would normally involve leading a ride occasionally, although it could possibly be by marshaling at time trials or helping out in some other way instead. Please do not join unless you are prepared to help out.
Former Members
Former members whose subscription lapsed prior to 1 May 2022 will be required to “re-join” the club as a New Member at a cost of £80 which also includes short sleeved club jersey. New members are required to attend a New Joiner Ride unless otherwise agreed in advance by a sponsoring Group Leader, The Membership Secretary and the Club Secretary.
From 1 May 2025 onwards we will apply a 3 year rule – such that any former member wishing to join the club, who has not previously been a member within the last 3 years will be required to “re-join” the club as a New Member.
Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December
This means in January everyone has to renew their membership.
