Welcome to the belated February broadcast. We have had a great start of the year with regular club rides and Zwift winter series offering not just an alternative to chilly Chiltern rain soaked roads but truly fun cycling events mixed with competitive sprint at the end. Also to mention that just this week, we had our first ARCC QUIZ social where we had over 70 members and guests enjoy brain teasers so masterfully put together by Hannah who volunteered her time and quiz expertise to make this possible. Thank you Hannah and all others who have made this event such as success! Merci beaucoup!
ARCC CLUB AGM – 27th MARCH
Just a reminder that AGM meeting is coming up in March so that you can get the date in the calendar. Lots to discuss and present including results and conclusions from our very first survey we conducted last year that will influence our actions and events for 2025. Also, we will be presenting the Club Vision, Values and Ambitions and how those are going to be shaping the future of our club.
Please do come and engage in the discussion and help the club with your votes, questions and suggestions. Look out for the email with AGM Agenda, Survey results and Club Vision from Paul, our club secretary.

FIRST AID TRAINING REMINDER
As mentioned we are running First Aid courses and it’s free to all ARCC members! These courses will be carried out by our own fully certified First Aid instructor, Doctor Caroline Whittaker.
- WHEN: Courses will run once a month on Tuesday evenings (starting 18th Feb) 6.00 – 8.00pm and Saturday afternoons (starting 1st March) 2.00 – 4.00pm.
If you are interested please contact Colin Peters, our welfare officer by message, WhatsApp or email welfare@amershamrcc.com where he can book you in and provide you more info should you need it.
